Troy Wilson, a 38-year-old resident of Greenwood, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on September 29, 2022, as a result of a drive-by shooting. According to Leflore County Coroner Debra Sanders, Wilson was walking near 1804 Grenada Blvd. around noon on Thursday when he was shot multiple times by someone traveling in a vehicle. He succumbed to his injuries around 8 a.m. the following day at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
