In the early hours of a summer Friday in Greenwood, Mississippi, the life of 32-year-old Christopher Reed was tragically cut short. On July 1, 2022, Reed was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting at the intersection of Johnson and Main Streets. The hail of bullets that erupted in the night not only claimed Reed's life but also left seven other individuals injured, spreading chaos and fear through the community.
