In the summer of 2017, a domestic dispute in Mount Pleasant, Mississippi, ended in the tragic death of 45-year-old Marvin Collins. On the evening of June 27th, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Collins was fatally shot at a residence on Mount Pleasant Church Road. The male victim was a Black / African American resident of the home where the incident occurred.
