In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Jackson, Mississippi, a dispute tragically escalated, leaving two brothers dead and a community in mourning. Thomas Summerall, a 43-year-old male, was fatally shot in the head on August 22, 2021. His brother, David Summerall, also lost his life in the violent encounter. The incident, which marked the city's 94th and 95th homicides of the year, unfolded at a residence on East Fortification Street.
