In the late hours of a Sunday in Vicksburg, Mississippi, the life of 22-year-old Corey Maxie Jr. was tragically cut short. On November 12, 2017, Vicksburg police responded to a call about a disturbance. Upon their arrival at the scene, they found Corey Maxie Jr., a young male, lying in the middle of the street, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
