Corey Maxie Jr., a 22-year-old resident of Vicksburg, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on November 12, 2017. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning on Fayette Street. According to reports, Vicksburg police responded to a call about a physical altercation around midnight. Upon arrival, they found Maxie lying in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound to the head.
