Joseph Lamar Turnipseed Jr., aged 33, tragically passed away on February 8, 2019, in Starkville, Mississippi. His death was a significant loss to his community, and his funeral services were held at Sixteenth Section M.B. Church in Starkville, with interment following at Sykes Cemetery. The circumstances surrounding his death were deeply troubling, as it was later revealed to be a result of a violent crime.
