James Clifton Hester Files, a 17-year-old from Starkville, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on April 4, 2021. The incident occurred on Easter Sunday at the intersection of Hilliard and Sherman Streets in Starkville. According to reports, the Starkville Police Department responded to the scene around 5:15 p.m. and found James Clifton Hester Files deceased inside a vehicle. The preliminary investigation indicated that the suspects and the victim knew each other.
