Zavier Darae "Jig" Armstead, a 20-year-old resident of Starkville, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on August 15, 2021. The incident occurred at the Sandhill Arms Apartments in Starkville, where Armstead was found with fatal gunshot wounds. The Starkville Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 9:48 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.
