Deontay "Dee" Rogers, a 20-year-old resident of Starkville, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on August 24, 2017. He was fatally shot at the Brookville Gardens Apartments in Starkville. The incident was part of a series of shootings that occurred on the same night, although authorities confirmed that the shootings were unrelated.
