In the spring of 2019, the life of 22-year-old Dre Charles Henry was cut short by gunfire in Waynesboro, Mississippi. On April 26, Henry, a male, was fatally shot in an incident that authorities believe to be gang-related. In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, the Waynesboro Police Department launched an investigation into the homicide.
