In the summer of 2022, the life of a promising young man from Waynesboro, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. Di’Len Jamari Watters, a 17-year-old African American male, passed away on July 20, 2022. Friends and family recall that he was lost to gun violence on July 18, 2022.
