In the autumn of 2019, the life of 29-year-old Anthony McGee was tragically cut short by gun violence in Jackson, Mississippi. On the evening of Sunday, October 13, 2019, officers from the Jackson Police Department were dispatched to the 3400 block of Handy Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered McGee had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
