Jaylen Burns, a 21-year-old student at Jackson State University, tragically lost his life on October 15, 2023, in an on-campus shooting at an apartment complex in Jackson, Mississippi. According to his father, Jason Burns, Jaylen was attempting to break up a fight when the incident occurred.
