Steven Hackler

Murdered

On April 26, 2023, 55-year-old Steven Jameris Hackler was found deceased in his Jackson, Mississippi, home on Old Spanish Trail. Responding officers discovered Hackler had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Family members reported that Hackler's black 2018 Nissan Frontier, bearing Mississippi tag B039J, was missing from his residence. Authorities believe unidentified suspects fled the scene in Hackler's vehicle following the shooting.
