In the quiet neighborhood of Conway, South Carolina, the morning of February 1, 2024, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Ja'Mir Johnson, an 18-year-old male, was waiting for the school bus at the corner of Rufus Street and Eighth Avenue when he was fatally shot.
