Charles McDonald Jr., a 17-year-old from Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on July 21, 2016. He was fatally shot in the parking lot of Performance Oil on McDowell Road. The incident occurred when Wayne Mitchell Parish, the vice president of Performance Oil, allegedly confronted McDonald during an attempted auto burglary. Parish shot McDonald multiple times in the chest, leading to his death.
