Death by Force

Jorge Velazquez Morales, a 29-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on December 6, 2019. Morales was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on I-20 Frontage Road near Gallatin Street in Jackson when the vehicle was shot into. He was struck in the back by a bullet and was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center by private vehicle, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Another male passenger in the vehicle was grazed by a bullet but survived.
