In the winter of 2021, the city of Jackson, Mississippi, was troubled by a string of violence that claimed the life of 31-year-old Ramone Robinson. On the evening of Friday, February 12th, police were called to a residence in the 3900 block of Garland Avenue. Inside, they made a grim discovery: the bodies of Ramone Robinson and a 29-year-old woman named Ashley Bratton. Both had been shot multiple times.
