On February 28, 2024, 35-year-old Robert Wheatbrook was fatally shot in the 2000 block of Belvedere Drive in Jackson, Mississippi. Jackson Police Department officers responded to the scene and pronounced Wheatbrook deceased from his injuries.
Following an investigation, authorities arrested 27-year-old Keenan Jacobs in connection with the shooting. Jacobs has been charged with murder and is currently in custody.
