Ja’Brandon Lewis, a 17-year-old from Jackson, Mississippi, was tragically shot and killed on May 27, 2020. The incident occurred just after midnight in the 800 block of West Northside Drive. According to the Jackson Police Department, Lewis was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead shortly after. The circumstances surrounding his death were particularly distressing, as he was reportedly running an errand for his mother when the shooting took place.
