In the spring of 2020, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace of a Jackson, Mississippi neighborhood, leaving a family to mourn and a community unsettled. On the evening of March 25th, 60-year-old Andrew Allen, a male resident of the city, found himself caught in the crossfire of a shootout that erupted on Lindsey Drive. The exchange of bullets proved fatal for Allen, who was tragically killed during the violent encounter.
