In the summer of 2021, the life of 67-year-old Eddie Lee Gandy, a male resident of Columbus, Mississippi, came to a tragic and violent end. On the morning of June 23rd, Gandy was found shot to death inside his 15th Avenue North home. Investigators arriving at the scene discovered signs of forced entry, suggesting that a robbery had been the motive for the intrusion that ultimately led to his murder. It appeared to authorities that someone had gone through his home looking for something of value.
