Shad Reese, a 23-year-old resident of Columbus, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on November 1, 2021. Reese, a U.S. Army Specialist and a mechanic by profession, was found dead in the front seat of a vehicle on 10th Avenue North near Union Academy in Columbus. The discovery was made at approximately 2:40 a.m., and investigators found a single shell casing at the scene. Reese's death was a result of a gunshot wound, and the circumstances surrounding his death pointed towards foul play.
