Darreyun James Pendleton, a 27-year-old resident of Brookhaven, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on July 21, 2021. The incident occurred at the Cloverdale Apartment Complex on Williams Street, where multiple 911 calls reported a shooting around 5:30 a.m. Upon arrival, Brookhaven Police officers found Pendleton suffering from gunshot wounds. He was subsequently transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, where he succumbed to his injuries.
