In the summer of 2022, a young man's life was cut tragically short in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Jerrivonte Harris, a 20-year-old male, was found unresponsive on the evening of July 12th. Police were dispatched to a residence at 414 Old Wesson Road around 9:26 p.m., where they discovered Harris on the floor. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lincoln County Coroner's Office. The sudden and violent nature of his death sent ripples of grief and concern ...
