In the spring of 2022, the life of 18-year-old Kevin Edwards was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. The young man was last seen leaving his home on a Saturday. A few days later, on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, his body was discovered in the carport of an abandoned house on Glen Erin Street. An investigation by the Jackson Police Department revealed that Edwards had been shot once.
