On a Sunday in late November of 2017, the life of 20-year-old Dejuan Matthew Shaw-Hudson, a Black/African American male from Oklahoma City, was cut short. His body was discovered in the driver's seat of a vehicle at ESA Park in Midwest City. The events that led to his tragic death unfolded over what police determined was a drug deal that went awry.
