On a quiet Saturday evening, the city of Oklahoma City was unsettled by an act of violence that ended the life of a longtime resident. Samuel Johnson, a 77-year-old Black male, was fatally shot inside his home on the 1600 block of Linden Street. The incident occurred on February 7, 2026, just four days before what would have been his 78th birthday.
