In the fading light of a March evening in 2019, the life of Eric Lamont Washington Jr., a 23-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in Oklahoma City. On March 6th, police were called to a northwest Oklahoma City apartment where they discovered Washington's body. It was immediately apparent that he had fallen victim to gun violence, and authorities launched a homicide investigation into the circumstances of his death.
Eric, known to some as "Friday Da Don," was a rapper and a father.
