In Oklahoma City, on the evening of Monday, April 13, 2026, a fatal shooting incident claimed the life of 50-year-old Erick Edwards Sr. The event marked the city's 21st homicide of the year.

The shooting occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m. at an apartment complex located in the vicinity of SE 15th Street and S. High Avenue.
