On September 9, 2019, the life of 33-year-old Caleea Broadus, a female Black / African American U.S. Army veteran and corporal with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, was tragically cut short in a violent act of domestic violence in Northwest Oklahoma City. That afternoon, following an altercation with her husband, Quentin Broadus, Caleea was shot and killed by him in front of their home.
