On July 11, 2017, 30-year-old Ashley Easton was found dead in a ditch in northeast Oklahoma City. Her body was discovered by a passerby near Air Depot Boulevard, just a day after her partner, Bashar Burks, was found deceased in a burning car nearby. Authorities initially believed the two deaths might be connected, though the exact circumstances remain unclear.
