Murdered

On March 30, 2014, 18-year-old Latisha Shaw was shot and killed in northeast Oklahoma City. Shaw, who was four months pregnant at the time, was involved in an altercation with friends in the 2000 block of N.E. 28th Street. After the fight, she began walking south on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue when she was shot. A passing driver called police, and officers found Shaw suffering from a gunshot wound. She was rushed to the hospital but later died from her injuries.
