On November 2, 2010, 34-year-old Julie Bryant Mitchell was found brutally beaten to death inside her home in northwest Oklahoma City. Her stepson, Daniel, discovered her body in the closet of the master bedroom, with her 1-year-old daughter unharmed but sitting near her mother’s body, covered in blood.
