On July 5, 2013, Evelyn Goodall, a 94-year-old woman, was brutally attacked during a home invasion in Oklahoma City. The intruder broke into her home, assaulted her, and bound her with duct tape. Although Goodall managed to call 911, she succumbed to her injuries two days later. The case remained unsolved for years until DNA evidence led to the arrest of Robert Hashagen, a former police officer, in 2017.
