Shandy Roof, aged 33, was killed on May 27, 2009, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, during what became a tragic double homicide. Roof was pregnant at the time of her death, and both she and her unborn child were victims in this case. The incident began in the early hours of the morning when Oklahoma City Police responded to a shots fired call at a residence on North Utah Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Roof’s body in the front yard of the home, where she had been shot multiple times.
