In the early morning hours of April 9, 2020, a domestic dispute in Oklahoma City tragically escalated, leading to the death of 47-year-old Henry Elix. The fatal incident unfolded in the front yard of a residence near Northwest 9th Street and North Classen Boulevard.
Police were called to the scene where they discovered Elix and a woman, identified as 39-year-old Angela Jimenez.
An argument between the two had reportedly turned violent, resulting in Elix sustaining a gunshot wound to his upper stomach. He was rushed to OU Medical Center for treatment but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
Following the incident, homicide investigators took Angela Jimenez into custody for questioning. Based on their investigation into the domestic altercation, she was subsequently arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. Jimenez was charged with one count of First Degree Murder in connection with the death of Henry Elix.
