In what initially appeared to be a suicide, 69-year-old Kenneth Nix was found dead in his Broken Arrow, Oklahoma home on March 21, 2016. Nix, a male, had sustained a gunshot wound. The initial report was made by his ex-wife, Judith Nix, who claimed to have discovered his body.
However, investigators at the scene quickly began to suspect that the narrative of a self-inflicted death was a fabrication. The position of the body and other evidence at the scene were inconsistent with a suicide.
