On July 10, 2024, 34-year-old Isai Vera was fatally shot at the Executive Inn motel near Southwest 34th Street and the Interstate 35 service road in Oklahoma City. Officers arrived at approximately 5:41 p.m. to find Vera suffering from a gunshot wound; he was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
