Devonte Chavez Ellison, a 25-year-old man from Oklahoma City, was shot on a warm Friday night at the Sooner Haven apartment complex in northeast Oklahoma City, near Northeast 36th Street and North Prospect Avenue. Police were called shortly before 11 p.m. on June 16, 2017, after reports of gunfire at the complex.
