In the early hours of August 8, 2021, tragedy struck in Las Vegas, Nevada, claiming the life of 28-year-old Raymond Roseby. The incident unfolded around 12:33 a.m. near an apartment complex on the 4900 block of South Maryland Parkway, in close proximity to the UNLV campus. Authorities were alerted to the scene by a ShotSpotter notification, a system designed to detect gunshot sounds.
