In the autumn of 2013, a sense of unease settled over a northeast Oklahoma City neighborhood after a concerned friend's call led police to a discovery. Inside his home near Northeast 23rd Street and Lottie Avenue, 76-year-old Nash Mitchell was found deceased. The scene within the residence spoke of a violent end, a narrative later confirmed by the state medical examiner.
