In the fall of 2021, a young mother's life was tragically cut short in Oklahoma City. Ashley Lynn Rice, a 29-year-old female, was fatally wounded on October 1, 2021, when she was struck by a stray bullet. She had been sitting on a curb outside a convenience store at the intersection of Northeast 13th Street and Lottie Avenue when an argument broke out between two other individuals.
