In the early morning hours of April 9, 2020, 18-year-old Madison Farley, a White female, was at a house party in southwest Oklahoma City. The gathering took a tragic turn when three men broke into the home, demanding money from the attendees. During the chaotic home invasion, one of the intruders shot Madison in the back of the head. She was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
Farley was the mother of a 10-month-old son.
The Oklahoma City Police Department responded to reports of the shooting and launched a homicide investigation. According to investigators, the suspects were described as four Black or mixed-race males. It is believed one of the suspects was armed with a long rifle. Despite their demands for money, the assailants fled the scene without successfully robbing anyone. Another individual at the party sustained a minor injury, having been grazed by a bullet.
To date, no arrests have been made in connection with the murder of Madison Farley, and her case remains unsolved. Law enforcement officials have repeatedly appealed to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspects. Madison's family has been vocal in their pleas for justice, expressing their profound grief and the urgent need for answers in the senseless killing of the young mother. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to seek leads to resolve the case.
