On November 9, 2023, at approximately 10:47 p.m., Oklahoma City Police responded to a shooting at 224 NW 84th Street. Upon arrival, officers found 34-year-old Kala Summer Wallace with a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries the following day. This incident marked the 66th homicide in Oklahoma City for the year 2023.
