Born on November 11, 1978, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, JLynn was known for her kindhearted nature and was a dedicated mother to three children. She had built a life in Oklahoma City, working as a nurse at Tinker Air Force Base and was even pursuing further education to advance her career.

The tragic discovery was made after concerned relatives were unable to reach JLynn and her husband, Michael Releford. Officers from the Oklahoma City Police Department were dispatched to their residence at 5913 S.E. 87th Street for a welfare check. Upon making entry into the home, they found both JLynn and her husband deceased.
