Cherri Brooks, a 36-year-old mother of three from Oklahoma City, tragically lost her life on March 4, 2024, in a shooting incident at the Relax Inn located at 2211 NE 23rd Street. Police responded to reports of a shooting at the hotel, where they discovered Brooks with gunshot wounds to her chest and abdomen. She was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
