In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Oklahoma City, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm outside the Harkins Theater in the Bricktown entertainment district, tragically ending the life of 18-year-old Lyric Lewis. The young woman, a recent high school graduate, was with a group of people near the movie theater around 11:45 p.m. on June 24, 2025, when the shooting occurred.
