In the early hours of a December morning in Milwaukee, a young Black / African American man's life was tragically cut short. Reginald T. Evans, a 21-year-old male, was working as a cook at a George Webb restaurant on the east side on December 20, 2013. A dispute erupted between a group of customers and restaurant staff, and Evans stepped in, attempting to de-escalate the situation and protect his colleagues. His courageous act, however, made him a target.
