In the winter of 2015, a tragedy unfolded in the city of Beloit, Wisconsin, forever altering the lives of a local family. On December 22, just three days before Christmas, 17-year-old Marcus Seichter, a Black male, passed away at a friend's home. The young man, a student at Beloit Memorial High School, was born on December 13, 1998, in Beloit to his parents Edward Thomas and Caroline Seichter.
